The first image is bold, serious, and luxuriously understated. A black & white portrait that draws you in with cinematic lighting, soft background bokeh, and just the right amount of grit. It’s the kind of image you print big, frame, and pass down.

True to Life: The One for the Yearbook Slideshow

The second image? A colorful, vibrant portrait full of joy and personality. This one was chosen for the school’s slideshow submission—and it’s easy to see why. This photo says “This is who I am right now” in the best way. Can’t you tell he’s so excited to finish high school and start the next chapter of his life?

Hi, I’m Heather Lilly—senior portrait photographer, boy mom, and lover of light, texture, and honest moments. With over 19 years behind the lens with Heather Lilly Photography, I specialize in natural light photography that blends editorial polish with real emotion.

I’m based in Greeley, Colorado and serve families all across Northern Colorado, including Windsor, Eaton, Severance, Erie, Timnath, Longmont, and beyond. I began photographing seniors in 2006—just a year out of college—and now, I’m old enough to walk through this milestone with both seniors and their parents. I don’t take that lightly.
