Hey there, it's Heather! Let me share a bit about the person behind the camera. Growing up in Greeley, then moving to Northglenn and Erie for nearly two decades, I'm now back in Northern Colorado, a place that has always felt like home.
In 2005, I graduated with a Journalism degree and a minor in visual arts.
My passion for photography blossomed while working at a small newspaper, leading me to launch my wedding and portrait photography business in 2006. Those early years of photography were amazing, and I was honored to be named one of the Top 3 Best Photographers on Channel 7's A-List.
In 2013, I took a step back to focus on raising our two amazing sons. They are my world, and watching them grow has been my greatest joy. Now that they are older (and much taller!), I'm back with renewed energy to offer my photography services once again.

When I'm not capturing the joy of my clients or editing images, you'll find me making sweet memories with my boys, soaking in a sermon, reading one of the books that's been on my nightstand for a few months, or immersing myself in photography training videos. I cherish moments cheering on my boys at swim practice, swim meets, and exploring new trailheads.
I have a soft spot for French Roast tea, kombucha, and Hu's salty dark chocolate bars. I enjoy exercise, music, reading, writing, making homemade body butter, and homeschooling.
I understand how important it is to freeze those precious moments and create timeless portraits that tell your unique story. Thank you for considering me to be a part of your journey. I can't wait to meet you and capture the memories you'll cherish forever.
The boys (& what I've been up to)
As a joyful homeschool mom for over eight years now, I wholeheartedly embrace "Children are not a distraction from work, they are the most important work." Let me tell you, my sweet boys are everything to me! They hold the key to my heart, and I truly treasure every single moment we spend together. Throughout their childhood, we've tackled some big challenges, like vision therapy, speech therapy, The Anchor Center, and Brain Balance. Seeing their love for learning alongside their growth and progress has made every step of the way worthwhile. Teaching my boys life skills, like cooking, is an absolute joy. Yet learning goes both ways in our household. They amaze me with their boundless knowledge of LEGO, Roblox, and don't even get me started on Minecraft and aerospace! Being their mom is the best gift and I'm grateful for each and every day the Lord brings us. Watching their dreams, passions, and curiosities blossom fills my heart with so much joy.
